——Shenzhen Furniture Resource Match Held at SZFA
Shenzhen furniture emerged in the 1990s, riding the wave of reform and opening-up, entering countless mainland homes. For over 30 years, it has maintained a fashion-forward design and trendsetting identity. With China’s rapid economic growth, enhanced production capacity, and a growing pool of local designers, many strong brands have risen across provinces and cities. Domestic competition is fierce, but beyond China lies a broader global market. After years of development, Shenzhen furniture companies now possess strong global competitiveness, making brand globalization a promising prospect.
On September 15, the Shenzhen Furniture “Brand Going Global” Resource Matchmaking Meeting was held at the Shenzhen Furniture Association. Leaders and foreign trade heads from companies including Panding International, Qianhai Jiumi, Meiting Home, CBD Home, Renhao Home, Nordic Geometry, and Qianjin Furniture attended.
Exporting furniture is not new—brands like Cheers, Yalan, and Red Apple exported worldwide 20 years ago; recently, CBD Home opened over 20 overseas brand stores. However, many brands have stalled at customs due to unfamiliarity with overseas markets, relying mainly on foreign traders or platforms like Amazon and Alibaba for exports. Low-price trade and OEM have yet to realize true “brand globalization.”
The event’s resource partners were Panding International Group and Shenzhen Qianhai Jiumi Information Technology Co., Ltd.
specializes in cross-border logistics, overseas warehouse distribution, and overseas sales. It operates 60+ self-owned overseas warehouses totaling over 500,000 sqm across North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, connected to over 5,000 local distributors.
provides integrated services including compliance registration, customs clearance, export settlement, tax refund, and more, solving fragmented cross-border trade data and ensuring full-process compliance and tax settlement for cross-border e-commerce.
Together, they address all export stages. Brands can leverage Panding’s logistics, warehousing, distributors, marketing, legal, and promotional resources for independent or joint marketing, and use Qianhai Jiumi’s customs clearance, settlement, tax, and subsidy services to streamline the entire brand globalization process.
That afternoon, despite heavy rain outside, lively
discussions took place indoors.
Representatives from CBD Home, Meiting Home, Nordic Geometry, Qianjin Furniture, and Renhao Home inquired about specific cooperation aspects such as payment methods, export cycles, brand retention, product customization, and targeted R&D.
After nearly three hours of communication, participating companies expressed trust in the two export partners’ capabilities and strong interest in this practical cooperation model. They introduced their product features and brand influence and invited the service providers to visit their factories for deeper cooperation talks.
